We went camping at Davis lake for the Labour day long weekend. This was our view from the campsite! very peaceful.

Jim and his baby girl, as my friend nicki puts it "they look like a real outdoorsey family" I think she means Jim looks like a bum, but it's ok. It was actually really cold that weekend, and since we were up in the mountains, it was reeeeaaaallllllyyyyy cold!!!
The nice thing about being cold, is all the cuddling!
Sarah isn't quite crawling yet, but she's almost there! She rolled and shuffled herself over to the dirt behind her numerous times! She was very upset we wouldn't let her play in it with her hands...
Mellissa and I getting ready to go out for a ride, safety first!

James and sarah on the little tiny atv, just posing don't worry they didn't go out like that, well she didn't go out at all, but you get the point.
sarah on the baby atv, pink for girls, and she's wearing james' superman hat.
James would love to be allowed to ride daddy's dirt bike, but he's too little :(
This is how you eat camping.. Well that is if you're two and you would rather not sit alone at the picnic table while evryone else eats on their laps, haha.
We let James stay up and fall alseep to the fire, I wouldn't want to go to bed alone in a tent either, well not if I was only 2... I guess one weekend won't ruin our bed schedule.
All the guys, and all the toys...

All the girls, and all the toys...
We had so much fun, we went up with three other couples! None of them have kids, but they were good about it! Tanya and I got lost in the forest paths on the atv, but we eventually found our way... Jim got up in the woods by himself on the dirt bike (silly guy left the group, naughty!) and he hit something and wiped out, his radiator had a puncture, and he was stranded, then it got dark! However God was with him, and through a few blessings ( too long to write) he did get back to camp. I was worried! But we had a great time overall! Camping in a tent with two wee ones can be tough, but it's only a few nights, and it was well worth the memories!
