Wow was it hot today!!! This is our backyard, and after church this is where we were! We played in the kiddie pool, blew bubbles, and when daddy decided to inflate the dingy to check for leaks we decided to fill it with water and go sliding.





All in all it was a great day, other than the fact that it was way too hot! Jim burnt his back a little, but what else is new... James got a little cranky as the day went on as this is his first week without naps :(



He doesn't really need them anymore but I think with the heat and playing he got tired and cranky which resulted in six pm naptime?.......


Doesn't this look like fun...





Anyways I am now blogging as they sleep, I am definitely looking forward to going away sans kids for Kasia's shower this coming weekend, I get to sleep in!!!

AW who am I kidding I'll miss them like crazy.

GOD IS SOOOOO GOOD!

Typical weekend in summer...

So this morning we woke up at about Six thirty AM!!! I guess it's better than six am. We played for a while followed by a leisurely breakfast of pancakes and bacon. After breakfast we packed up and headed for the water park. Sarah and I stayed put in our little sun shelter tent thing while James and daddy took turns running through the water! They looked refreshed because boy was it hot today! After a few hours of this fun we headed out for lunch and came home to set up our kiddie pool in our backyard. I have to thank the Lord for blessing us with this new house which includes a backyard unlike our front "walkway" at the old place. Soon enough our friends Donnell and Filanna came over for a BBQ and a social visit. We put the kids to bed and down to the cool basement we went. what a beautiful day, God is so good!
